Notts County given extension for tax payment

The High Court has given English Notts County 28 more days to pay GBP 324,000 to HM Revenue & Customs says the BBC.
The High Court was told on Wednesday that the club has just made a deal which will see a GBP 5 million cash infusion. The name and other details of the investor will remain under wraps until the due diligence process is completed. This process has been in the works for a while as Notts County owner Peter Trembling and director of football Sven-Goran Eriksson have been in talks with investors since last month. |
